Enhanced DBS

Every candidate holds a current Enhanced DBS — verified and tracked. We recommend the Update Service so checks stay live and portable.

Right to Work Checks

ID, share code and document verification carried out in line with Home Office guidance. Evidence supplied in every compliance pack.

Reference Verification

Two professional references — including the most recent line manager — confirmed directly. We don't accept candidate-provided contacts blindly.

GDPR Compliance

Lawful basis recorded, data minimised, retention managed. Candidate data is held securely and only shared with explicit consent.

Mandatory Training

Care Certificate, moving & handling, safeguarding, infection control and other mandatory training checked and dated.

Clinical Competency

Senior carer / nurse one-to-one interviews to verify clinical fundamentals before any introduction.

What we expect from every candidate.

Right to work in the UK

Verified at source — passport, BRP, share code or settled status.

Enhanced DBS (or PVG in Scotland)

Current and portable, on the Update Service where possible.

Two professional references

At least one from the most recent employer in a care setting.

Mandatory training

Current Care Certificate or equivalent; safeguarding and M&H within 12 months.

Clinical / role competency

Confirmed in a structured interview by a senior consultant.

Honest interview

Values-based screening — we say no when a candidate isn't right.
