Support Worker – Gloucester | £12.77 per hour Full UK MANUAL driving licence essential. No sponsorship available. Permanent work across Gloucester / Gloucestershire. You do not need to own a vehicle. Help someone have more choice in their everyday life. That might mean making lunch together, getting to an appointment or supporting someone to do more for themselves. THE WORK • Support daily routines, meals, appointments and community activities. • Provide personal care where required, with dignity and respect. • Support medication only after appropriate training. • Follow agreed care plans, keep clear records and help people build independence. IS THIS RIGHT FOR YOU? • You hold a full UK manual driving licence and can travel reliably within Gloucester / Gloucestershire. • You already have UK right to work without employer sponsorship for this role. • Where work permission is time-limited, the provider currently requires at least 12 months remaining. This does not apply if your right to work is not time-limited. • You can offer flexible support-work availability. Depending on the service, shifts may include days, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins. Tell us what you can reliably cover. • You are dependable, communicate clearly and treat people with respect. Care/support experience is useful; relevant transferable skills are welcome. The exact contracted hours, rota and work location will be discussed during recruitment. Enhanced DBS and appropriate recruitment checks are required.
